Monthly Tournaments

To increase the awareness of courses and disc golf in the Fargo area, we will be having monthly tournaments to highlight nearby courses.

The tournaments are for players to see all the courses, play competitive disc golf, and to help raise funds for the ND State Tournament.

Standard Tournament Details for All Tournaments:

Registration at each tournament will take place from 8:30-9:30

Players meeting will be at 9:30

Tee-off will be at 9:45

Entry fee will be $25*

$5 will be donated towards the ND State Tournament

$2 will be held back for overall Fargo Monthly Winners

$18 will be given back in the form of prize money

We have created a point system so we can award champions of different divisions of the overall Fargo Monthly Tournaments.

When you play in a tournament, you will receive points for however many people you beat in your division.

Example:

You are playing advanced and there are 10 people.

You place 3rd in the tournament.

You beat 7 people so you get 7 points toward overall champion.

Overall champion (or top 2 or 3 people depending on numbers) will earn the $2 held back fee from all tournaments through the year

Monthly Tournament 2

Date: 6/22/13

Where: Riverbend Park -- Hawley, MN

Holes to be played: 18 or 27

* Cost of this tournament will be $30 to benefit the Hawley Jaycees as well

Monthly Tournament 3

Date: 7/20/13

Where: Oak Grove -- Fargo, ND

Holes to be played: 31-36

Monthly Tournament 4

Date: 8/17/13

Where: Iwen Park -- Fargo, ND

Holes to be played: 18 or 36

Monthly Tournament 5

Date: 9/29/13 (Sunday)

Where: Haberman Disc Golf Course -- Pelican Rapids, MN

Holes to be played: 36
